After seeing all of the falling sand games online, I got the idea to represent each pixel as a whole tile to make the map seem much bigger. The plan was then to make the player control a character that needed to traverse a chaotic world of element actions and reactions.

I planned on giving the player an array of equipment like a lantern, drill, pump, shovel, and various other things to aid in exploring caves. Each item would have advantages and disadvantages, like one element in the game would be colorless gas that when the lantern came in contact with, it would ignite, most likely killing the player and causing all sorts of other chaos.
