The first project in my UofM game design class. The assignment was to create a simple arcade game. I did all of the art and programming using a DX Framework. I used some overhead pictures of models running and colored them in to get the animation for the characters.

Each enemy has different properties, some ignore tear gas, others require more power to take down without killing them. Tear gas seems to be too cheap in this game, the player can just buy all tear gas and cover the area with it, making everyone get knocked out before they reach you. And before that, tear gas was so strong you could drop one at your feet, and the area of effect would drop everyone before they got to you. I improved it by making enemies be able to pass though at least half the radis of the effect.
